About Us
Rochester Youth Cycling Club (RYCC)
RYCC is an incorporated not for profit 501c3 club cycling in conjunction with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA)for 6th to 12th grade Student-Riders. The RYCC Mission aims to promote and support youth cycling (mountain biking) in the Greater Rochester area. RYCC provides leadership, aid, and guidance to allow youth cyclists to overcome challenges both on and off the bike. We wish to assist the youth with instilling values that reach far beyond their time spent on a bike.
Our Coaches
RYCC Level Certified club coaches are background checked and NICA trained. Made up of seasoned cyclist from the community and new to trail riding parents of our student riders. The coaches provide guidance and mentor-ship to help youth riders achieve their cycling goals, while instilling values that reach far beyond their time spent on a bike.
Our Student Riders
RYCC student riders (grades 6 thru 12) consist of beginner mountain cyclist, seasoned mountain cyclist, Adventurers (non-competitive) and Competitors (Cross Country style racers). All coming together to have fun, make friends, learn about bike maintenance, learn how to mountain bike ride and race.
